A Silver Eagle washes up on the Minkowan shore on a dark and stormy night. What could be ominous about that? Plenty!

The forces of the Hierarchy have set a plot in motion to gain control of the underearth kingdom of Shadaroom. If that attack is successful, the invaders’ next order of business will be the destruction of the overearth kingdoms, including Minkowa.

The world’s answer lies in gathering the seven gems required to activate a mystical key that opens a doorway to the underearth realm. Shadaroom needs to be warned of the coming attack! To this end, the Silver Eagles send teams of Minkowans to retrieve the gems strategically placed throughout the kingdoms of the earth.

Vislet and Aerlo journey to the northern realm of Arctece to gather the gem hidden in the First Teff, a tree of noble connections. But the tree isn’t the only thing they encounter associated with  Arctecian royalty. Murder, Rift Rats, dilapidated mansions, strange underground breaches, and even stranger citizens twist the pair up in the land’s complications. But for Vislet, the most dangerous complication of all comes in the form of a glacial blue-eyed Arctecian Fox with secrets.

Does the legendary Cave of Inglets hold the power to save Minkowa?

Vislet, an adventurous Fox of the Minkowan woodlands, is thrust into a position of leadership when the Norwolves of her grandfather’s stories prove to be very real. The skulking Wolf-like foes have invaded, with no one able to stand against the onslaught. The land’s only hope lies in the mysterious swords called inglets and an ancient book—the Warrior’s Axiom. But very few inglets remain in the land—even fewer books; and the knowledge of the mystical connection between the two has been lost.

In a desperate attempt to save her homeland, Vislet leads a small band of animals on a perilous journey through the Minkowan woodlands to locate the legendary Cave of Inglets before it is too late. When the Norwolves uncover her plan, it becomes a race to not only find the lost cave before the enemy, but also to discover a way to activate the inglets, unleashing their power within.
