Time for entrepreneur week! This month you are an artist. In fact, you are so amazing that the zoo want to hire you to paint a mural on the wall near the entrance. This zoo is well known for its wonderful treatment of animals and for helping endangered species. You ponder this project carefully, being the wise artist that you are. The art needs to reflect the zoo and make people stop in wonder and excitement as they enter. So you make a list of things that come to mind when you think of the zoo. It’s a long list because a mural is a BIG picture after all. You gather those ideas until you have a theme (instead just a jumble of pictures.)
I’m so excited! What have you decided to paint?
Your artistic talents are once again called upon!! This time, a winter resort has asked you to make an ice sculpture in front of the main lobby. Everyone will see it as they enter. You jump at this opportunity because you don’t mind the cold. You know there are lots of fun things to do in a snow-filled winter. In fact, you can do most of those things right here at the resort! So you make a list including those activities and whatever else you associate with the snow and ice. Wa-la! You know what you are going to sculpt! What is it?
Wow! Your art is getting so popular! Now, The Ice Cream Store wants you to make something unique to hang on the wall of their shop. They need something unusual… because their name is not. You get your art thoughts stirring by making yet another list. What do you associate with ice cream? Then you think to yourself, “How can I take those ideas and shape one (or a couple) into something quirky?”- like a floor to ceiling metal piece that is layers of melting ice cream dripping into the one underneath. Or maybe you thought of something funny to put on the wall!
Share your idea in the comments so just in case there is an ice cream store looking for something unique, they can figure out what to do!
You have one last project to consider this week. Your hometown wants you to make a sculpture. Who better to make it than the talented you who lives there! Of course, it needs to somehow reflect your wonderful home. Being the list maker that you are, you make a list of everything you think of when you picture your hometown. Is there something historically significant about the place. Is there a particular person associated with it? Is your city known for a certain product? Is there a special environment surrounding it? (Swamp, forests, ocean…)
You examine your list and decide upon the perfect sculpture!! What is it???

Is there a way represent pine trees, lakes and cows? A lake with a pine tree growing out of the middle and a cow swimming past… This is why they didn’t ask me to make a sculpture…

It is a rainy day. If it really isn’t, then imagine a rainy day. Wooosh, Pitter-patter, Rumble… Just in case you were having difficulty. You have a choice between two options. Would you rather play a board game or read a book? Why?
Only trivia-related board games for me, please.
