Your adventures continue… because you are and adventurer… and that’s what they do. This month, you find yourself deep in a forest. Can you picture yourself there? Ok. Now make a list of what you: see smell hear taste feel Keep this list for tomorrow because like I said before… the adventure continues.
It is day two of your forest adventure! Yesterday, you made a list of what you see, hear, smell, taste, and feel. Using that list, write a few sentences describing your exploration of the woodlands!
We have bears in our woodlands. (Also known as our property behind our backyard) So it’s likely you would come across bear scat there… bet that is not something you had on your list! Or did you??
Let me know!

You look up into the sky as a flock of geese make their way… somewhere… exactly where they are going is irrelevant, so let’s continue… Fine. They are going to a small lake in northern Wisconsin. You are writing a letter to a friend who has never experienced an overhead flock of geese because they are from… somewhere, that doesn’t have geese. This time, I don’t know who doesn’t have geese so I’m not clarifying. The point is, you need to describe what this flock of geese is like. What do you see? What do you hear? Write a few sentences for your buddy so they can understand your experience.
Flocks love to land in the lake we live on. Hmmm… that was a lot of unintentional alliteration.

You just invented something new- you genius, you. You saw there was a need for this new-fangled thing. Or perhaps, it just sounded like something fun. What is it?!
Perhaps someone can invent something where you just push the button and ticks get sucked into a canister from miles around….

So when a dog looses fur, we say they shed. How come when someone looses a tooth we say they “loose a tooth.?” Surely this can be compressed into a single word! Make a list of words associated with loosing that tooth. Got it? Using that list, can you combine words, pieces of words or ideas to create a new descriptive word?
Why, of course you can! What did you come up with
