In honor of warmer weather, you have a sunny hue to work with today. While you are pondering this color, think of a noun, verb, adjective and adverb that you associate with it.
Got them? Ok- now use those words to think of an awesome name to stick on a paint sample strip.
What did you come up with?
In honor of Mother’s day, we are considering perfume in this month’s Point of View. Today, write a couple sentences about perfume from your mother’s point of view.
Does she have a favorite? Does she never wear the stuff because it makes her sneeze?
Today, look at perfume from the point of view of a sales clerk whose job is to sell the fragrances. How might their outlook be different from your mother’s that you wrote about yesterday?
I sprayed some natural cedar-oil tick repellant on my collie the other day. I didn’t apply much… because she fled. She ran outside and rubbed in the wet grass effectively negating the anti-tickness of the stuff. She obviously didn’t care for the scent. Dead animal scent= fine. Dirt and mud scent= fine. Squirrel scent= one of the most exciting scents on the planet. Cedar oi scent= not fine.
Today, think about the perfume you have been pondering the last two days. How would a cat react to smell?
What if you were puttering around your back yard and PLOP! a fish falls from the sky? Think about a story to explain the strange occurrence!
Then let me know what you came up with- because this is a true story. If you don’t believe me, ask my neighbor! (which you can’t really do because you don’t even know who she is but still…) Did I mention I live on a lake????
