Monthly puppy naming time!!! Congratulations! You have a roly-poly pile of soon to be giant drooling bundles of love. (and one of the best breeds on the planet!!) Newfies are water dogs renowned for their prowess when it comes to water rescue. Your job is to come up with names for the 4 puppies- 2 girls and 2 boys. But not just any names will do. The names need to correspond with something having to do with water; water features; effects of water; ocean features, etc. How about Hydro? Your turn! What was your favorite name?
Your character is a bat. Describe him (or her) in a few sentences. How do you feel about bats? When I was little some used to get into our cottage and fly upstairs (aka where I slept) My dad would come with a net and scoop them up to release them outside. One got stuck on a fly strip once…
The bat you created yesterday has a dilemma. They are afraid of the dark! What complications does this cause for your bat? Is there a way they work around the fear? Overcome the fear? This may take quite a bit of writing to describe, so feel welcome to simply discuss your story with someone. Good thing a bat can’t bat with a bat… it would be the source of very confusing conversations.
Congrats on your trip. Where are you headed? I’ll need to pack my Mickey (or Minnie) shirts and jewelry for mine!! I have a lot of each… and purses… and some shoes… and a jacket… and a pair of pants… and an apron… and kitchen towels… oh wait… I don’t need to bring those last two.
Have you ever had to pull your foot out the mud? I think there should be a specific word for “foot from mud plucking”. Make a list of the sounds, the sensations, and what you see in your foot-freeing process. Can you combine some of those words to create a new one? What did you come up with?
